VX Stereo question...

Hi I am new to this forum and I hope I am posting in the right part. I was just wondering if anyone knew much about VX Stereos.
Is it possible to put a Blaupunkt stereo from a VY in it?

And one other question.. if I were to change the stereo to a normal car stereo (and filled up the hole left from the stock evox stereo) is it still possible to hook up the steering wheel remote?

Any help would be muchly appreciated thanks.

1. The Blaupunkt head-unit from the VY/VZ will not fit in a VT/VX....they are a different size (the Blaupunkt is larger).

2. It is possible to retain the OEM steering wheel controls but it will cost about $250-$300 for the "module" that is required to integrate them with the aftermarket head-unit, plus installation fees if you dont want to do it yourself.
