hey guys

i'm sorry f this question has been asked before, but here goes.

i bought a 2nd hand series 1 stereo to put into my VT Calais, which is kitted with steering wheel controls and had half a series 2 loom....the connector wasn't there but most of the wiring was. i bought a series 1 loom and plugged it into the stereo, runs fine.

My question is if i bought a 2nd hand series 2 loom, will it work with a series 1 head unit? and if so, will my steering wheel controls also work?
