    Default will it fit?

    Hey guys ,
    Just a really quick question.
I was wondering if you could tell me if this head unit will fit into my VY II Calais. http://www.sony.com.au/product/xav-w1
Im fairly sure thats it will fit height and width, but does anyone know how i am going to go for depth?

    Cheers

I'm sure it will.. I think the easiest bet would be to pop your radio out (not hard at all) and have a look/measure

You may be able to get them from JB or Autobarn.....if not then a specialist car audio retailer should have them or be able get them easily enough.

you really odn't need one for a VT-VX...if going single din then just a simple peice of black plastic at the bottom usually works well. Ig going single din then you just need to purchase a pocket from somewhere. Aerpro make on that works well.... AP9014 I tihnk.

In response to pulling the deck out of the VY and measuring it....that won't work! If you did that and measured it...it really wouldn't fit. When doing any deck in a vy the whole front fascia needs to be removed so you can pull out the cage that the factory radio mounts into...then it will fit!

    hey everyone
    about the facias
i work at jb hifi and u can get pretty much any facia there
for the VT-VX u need a simple pocket to fill the space if u get a single din unit
for a double din unit u dont need one
with the vy and vz u can get a single din facia kit and a double din facia kit
they are only about 19 bucks each
they are from aepro and stinger do them too
throw me any questions about what to buy and where from

    cheers
