Hi Guys,
I just bought some new splits and i need to remove my head unit but i lost the damn removal keys ages ago.
Does anyone know any 'home made' methods that i could use to remove this unit?
Or does anyone know where i could buy some new ones? I looked on ebay and they do sell them on there but it takes 2 weeks to post and i need to remove the unit in a couple of days. Would places like Repco or Auto-Pro sell removal keys?
Or as a last resort, would anyone be kind enough to post me their keys so i can remove the unit? They would be returned straight after i get the unit out.
Send me a PM.
Cheers Guys,
Much appreciated
go in and ask for them...most places carry a large stock of them. Or ask them to release it for you. One question though...is it inthe VS listed in the "ride" section? if so, then keys won't help you as it's screwed in. You will need to remove the centre console and the HVAC system to get it out.
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!
Any car audio installer probably has dozens of them, just ask.
