Forgive me if this has ever been mentioned anywhere else on this forum, but I was unable to find this topic anywhere.
Today I received my insurance certificate from RACQ listing all the details of the new SV6, and one bit caught my eye listed under "Optional Extras", being a CD player with 6 CD stacker. My unit appears to be a stock standard Blaupunkt system, but there is no visable way that this thing is a stacker. Only takes one disc and there is nothing else in the car which I can feed CD's.
Does this sound right or am I missing something completely??
Reason I ask is I do not want to be paying another cent for this insurance by them trying to list things which are not attached to the vehicle, which includes listing what the "Majority" of these models were released with. I have already found them to be charging me for a modification, being the spoiler, which is already listed 3 lines up in the manufacturers standard fittings!
SV6's only come with the single disk unit, SS's and Calais come with the 6 Stacker..
Thanks very much for that. A good example to check everything that you are paying for in your car insurance!
