Hey guys, i want to build a sub box it needs to be 29L per chamber (two subs) and its goin on the hump in a vs commodore, i just dont know how to work out what size the box needs to be.
Would be great if someone could help. i think it can only be 700mm wide and 300/330mm high
Cheers
hey mate, i did a few rough calculations.. and i'm pretty sure making a box that size will give you somewhere near 65litres maybe little bit more. so should be sweet![]()
just what you said mate 70 x 30 x 35cm
EDIT: Should say mate, worked out to be 69.45 to be exact but i wasnt using a calculator lol should be close though mate.
Here you go, convert cm/mm into inches using this program:
http://joshmadison.com/software/convert-for-windows/
Very useful little program that one
Then go to the below link and click on "Volume Calculator - Rectangular Enclosures", put in the outside dimensions of the box you wanna build (in inches) into the calculator and it'll tell you the internal volume. Theres a few other handy calculators and tools on that site too.
