need help buying online

Hey guy's, i was just about to buy a new head unit from ebay, when i saw 2 other unit's which looked ok. Problem is i can't seem to find all the specifications on the other 2 head units.
The original one i was going to purchase is a Pioneer DEH P5150UB
I then saw 2 models from Alpine, which where around the same price range, those models being the CDA -105E, and the iDA-X303
All seem to be IPOD compatible, (not a huge deal anyway, i'm still a CD man)
but, i'm a little confused about some of the details, and was wondering if somebody could clear them up for me.

The Pioneer say's it has a EEQ 7 Band Digital Graphic Equaliser, so does this mean 7 band equaliser? And if so, this would this be much of an improvemnt SQ wise, over the 4 band equaliser my current H/U has? What band equaliser's could i expect the 2 unit's from Alpine to have?
Would i expect all of these unit's to have HPF filters built into them?
What is 24 bit DAC?
The X303 from Alpine has bass level control for the sub-out, since the other don't state this, should i assume they don't have it, or being a dedicated sub-out, do they all do the same thing?

Sorry for a lot questions, but this will be my first head unit i have bought with any consideration, all my previous units have pretty much just been cheap entry level ones..So any answers, advice, personal prefercnes, ect, would be greatly appreciated.

I found most of the info i was looking for, it was on Alpine's "Asia Pacific" website....not there Australian one,(their Australian site sucks!!!) and after a bit of thinking, i purchased the Alpine CDA 105E. Which will arrive in 2-7 working days..

Just make sure the AM/FM tuning frequencies are the same as Aus. I think the Asian AM/FM band is not the same as the Australian version (i.e. 88-108 Mhz).

Yeah i made sure it wasn't an overseas model.It's from an Australian Ebay supplier (Elite Electronic) I'm not sure why i couldn't find the 105E on the Aus site, there's 105Ei, which perhaps is the same model, and just a small missprint from the supplier...Alpine's website say's it retails for $549, Elite are selling them for $318. (incase anyone was interested) i'll add to the post once i receive it, but they look like a good seller, no neg feedback, and over 800 positives. So hopefully there's no catch to getting it so cheap???Otherwise, i'm looking forward to recieving it.
