Blaupunkt Stereo Info

Hi guys, I need some help with my girlfriends car.
She's driving a 2000 Barina (I know, I know, its a commodore forum, but I drive a 5.0i Calais, so I hope you'll help me anyway)

Basically, I've been having a hard time finding out what model stereo is in her car.
Its got more or less a built in CD player to the dash, and can be controlled either through the centre consol, or on the steering wheel.

Its some sort of Blaupunkt stereo. I just cant for the life of me work out which one.
I'm looking to upgrade it, even though its quite good, she wants something that she can plug her iPod into. I dont even know if this one can do it, whether or not there's an input on the back...
Either way, if i'm replacing it, I want one that's going to be an upgrade, instead of one that's simply iPod compatible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, even if you guys know where I can find this information!

I don't think I-pod facility exists with this CD player. I had to replce the one on my daughter's 2001 Barina when it carked it. It was just a matter of removing four little grub screws from the holes in the front of the unit, inserting wire releasing tools and pulling the unit out. The model number will be on the back of the player.

Do you have the owner's manual that came with the car - it should give some info about the model.

It wont be an ipod compatible player. As far as i can tell, its a single din size, any single din player will fit. As far as keeping the steering wheel controllers, a specific head deck and CAT convertor will be purchased.(an audio store will be able to direct you to the correct controller)
Prepare to shell out as much for the signal convertor as u will for the head deck.
