    Default which amps ?

    hey guys,
    new to the site

    just wondering, what amp's would i need to run the following :

    kicker subs- 12" duel 600 watt subs.

    kicker speakers- 120 watt splits 6" midrange and tweeters for front
    alpine speakers- 80 watts 2 way 6.5'' for rear

    pioneer head unit- 200 watt 2-din dvd player.

    You need 300RMS total for the subwoofers.

    Out of my own ranges you could use:

    You can either use a single amplifier eg:
    Shopping Secure - Option Audio OAH500
    Shopping Secure - Steg QM 75.6mx
    Shopping Secure - S-7006

    Or you can use a 4 channel amplifier to run the subwoofers and the front speakers while running the rear speakers off the head unit eg:
    Shopping Secure - Option Audio OAC160

    Or you can add a dedicated monoblock to run the subwoofer and use a 4 channel to run all 4 speakers eg:
    Shopping Secure - Option Audio OAX502
    Shopping Secure - Steg QM 150.1x

    It depends completely on your budget and the level of quality you want in your amplifiers.

    For future reference, when asking for help please provide model numbers of the gear you have... It makes it much easier to help you when we know exactly what you have.

    Yeah, I had to go through that catalogue and match up the power ratings to the models :P
