    Default Orion HCCA152

    Hi all,
I previously owned a 12" Hifonic Olympus 2412 (HIFONICS - Olympus Subwoofers) but sold it off to the missus
Now I'm in the market for a 15" I've been looking around and have found a Orion HCCA152 subby at AudioCom in Osborne Park. Normal retail is $1499 but I can get it for $1200. (ORION - HCCA152).

Does anyone have any suggestions for the kind of price???

How about the Xmplar range through shopping secure? Or the SPL Dynamics?
Theres also Digital Designs.....it would depend on what kind of sound youre after and the box type / size you want too.

Sound I like .... Bass "I'm totally addicted to bass" (Hence the 15")
Box type/size doesn't matter... generally ported is the way to go. Size... I got the entire boot except the gas tank.

I listen to Drum n Bass, Dance, Hip Hop, R&B, Rap type music.

The sub will be joining the SoundStream TRC6N Woofer and SoundStream SST05 Tweeters.

Yeah, for $1,200 you can get some pretty good subs.

How much power do you have for it?

0 I need to get an amp aswell.. but I'll match the amp to the sub I get. Atm I've got a 0gauge Kicker kit running through the car from my previous sub.
I'm looking into getting a D34 Blue top, both of em give 12months warranty. Blue top got extra terminal which I think will be handy.

If you want loud, you can't go wrong with DD subs. Their online store is quite cheap compared to the old prices too.

Digital Designs Audio Direct - Get a bangin system in your ride!

You could actually get a DD9512 with that cash... Very good and loud sub. Do you have room to make a decent size box?

[edit] And DD have a 5 year warranty on manufacturing defects

I also have some SPL Dynamics subwoofers which are rated at 1500RMS which are $750 a piece.

NOTE: While this subwoofer is the perfect option for SPL competitions all customers need to keep in mind that damage caused by overdriving and burnt voice coils are NOT covered by the 12 month manufacturers warranty since it would be classified as misuse. Please use these subwoofers responsibly as they are very powerful. Keep in mind that Shopping Secure will NOT take responsibility for any damage to hearing or damage to your vehicle.

Wow... That Vibe is an unusual woofer

What would shipping cost me to Perth??
The xMplar M15 is $1599 already.

Anyone wan tell me how to link volume to subwoofer? cause more RMS doesn't mean more volume does it

Unless your in a rural area I will include shipping in the cost. The best thing for you to do is actually log on my site and place an order. By doing that I will have your address details so I can confirm whether or not I will need to add a charge for it.

RMS is the power handling of a subwoofer. The volume depends upon the RMS, the Size of the woofer and the box design along with the subwoofer design.

The VIBE BlackDeath is a MEAN subwoofer, it will take plenty of power, its well designed and I would also be able to help you out with specs to help you design a very loud box for it.
