hi there
I have 2 6X9 speakers that I want to run off an amp so they have that extra kick.. i dont have any room for a sub in the ute.
I just picked up a 4 channel Alpine Amp for $30. its 300W 4/3/2 channel.
i want to bridge channels 1-2 and 3-4 with the 2 speakers so they have maximum power. But this requires 2 sets of RCA cables. my head unit can only have one set plugged in.
is there any way around this to still get max power to the speakers... without me getting a new head unit with more pre outs?
I hope i have explained everything well enough for someone to understand haha
cheers![]()

Yep, RCA splitters. Can get them at any store that sells car audio gear. 1 Female to 2 Male is what you are looking for.
Also you will find that your amp only needs two RCAs, but a RCA generally has a left and a right cable. So what you need to do is put a splitter on the cable for the left side and put the two ends into the two left inputs on the amp, and ditto for the right.

Thank f*** for that haha. So it will put out the exact same power as having 2 sets of cables?

Yes mate it wont make a difference in your case...you'll need 2 of these
Just connect your RCAs as normal to the head-unit, then connect these to each end of the RCA near the amp...and there you go, two plug turns into 4![]()
