hey i have just got 2 Pioneer TS-W306c 1000W subs and need an amp to run they. If any one could help me out on the size and type of amp need that would be a great help Thanks
Alrighty those subs are 4 ohms each, so together they'll be 2 ohm (you might not know what this means but its important)
They are also 400wrms each so an amp that produces 800-1000wrms at 2 ohm. Heres a few examples of what you'd be looking at:
Option Audio OAX1502, 950wrms @ 2ohm
JBL 1100wrms @ 2 ohm
Clarion 850wrms @ 2ohm
150db in a commodore =
I could help you with the price on the Option Audio amplifier as well if you would like. Its 1 ohm stable as well so it has plenty of grunt for any future upgrades.
