i bought a new fusion 1200w powerplant amp for my VR.
i currently have screw cables (which was on my old amp) and the new amp takes RCA terminals! whats the best way to convert this?
and where can i get RCA connectors?
ive been told you can hook cable bout 20mm and insert the RCA connector?
thanks guys
VRoooom!
I suggest buy new RCA cables. They aren't that expensive. I hate messing around with cables, joining two together etc... I like just having 1 straight cable, better quality too.
Deck: Alpine 9887
Speakers: Hertz HSK165 XL
Amps: Audison SRx2, SRx4 & Alpine M350
Subs: 2x Alpine 10" Type S
I assume the RCA's are for the signal from the deck in to the amp? and then there are screw terminals for speakers out? very strange for an amp to have rca terminals out for speakers, not saying its not possible, just seems odd.
i think he means the old amp had high input and the new one doesn't have any place to put a high input in
assuming it's this one it has RCA in and out in case you have more than one amp so you don't have to run 2 lots of RCA's
easiest way is to run RCA's from head unit to amp
Yeh, so if he doesnt have RCA outs on his headunit he'll need to get hi-lo converters too![]()
judging by the fact he took his headunit out earlier in the year id say he has an aftermarket one and i haven't seen one with out rca outs in ages
