    Default VZ Crewman Sub placement

    Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has any idea's of Sub placement in the VZ Crewman. I was planning under the back seats as they lift up, but that's got all my gear in it such as Ropes and all that because it's a split into 4 sections compartment so a sub won't fit. Any idea's would be good.

The Front passenger seat is too low to get an clearance for a box.

    Cheers

Post pictures up mate. A couple of good pictures would give everyone a good idea of what to do.

I've never paid any attention to the space in a crewman, but is it possible to cut away the compartments under the seat to make room for a small box?

Wow.. Yes very old. I don't have the crewman anymore.

Coule of idea's though, A free Air sub can go under say the passenger seat and amp under the drivers.. Or, fit them in under the backseat if you aren't carrying anything under there.

I didn't have a free air sub, so couldn't put it there and I also used under the seat for storage (Couldn't get rid o just for a sub to fit)

I'm thinking of getting a box made up for the tray, put my 2 12" subs in that....what do you guys think, would that sound ok? I mean the bass wont be in the cabin, it will be all the way in the back, in the tray....i dont know if that is going to give a great sound. Would 3 12" subs make a difference?
I would like to put my amps and subs in the box in the tray, water proof it, make it so it can take some knocks and stuff.....My amps won't fit ion the cabin anywhere, there to big lol

please dont attempt this.. a sub sounds better in an enclosed area, if you do it in your tray it will be very similar to freeair subs. you will just be making alot of noise for the people around you.

Actually.. If you do that, you will need to make a box facing the back of the cabin. they would have to be enclosed.

Bass doesn't need to be in the room with you, it just need to be somewhere near-by. heanve why subs are in boots and not in the doors.

So if you did do that, then a box with a gap between the Sub and rear firewall would work/.
