Can i connect the aerial to accessories power so every time i turn accessories on the aerial comes up? or hows it work. thanks.

I'm not sure of the factory colour code for the antenna, but you apply +12v to it. You should find a wire on your H/U labelled 'amp remote' or something like that, it will supply the volts for your antenna.

Do a search for the colour codes.

The white and blue wires are not the ones. That's for units that have manual up and down controls.
Yellow/Red is the one you wire to.

for more info, go to http://www.eurovox.com.au/downloads/...m%20Update.pdf

I know it says vn-vt, but from my understanding, it has stayed the same.

Thanks man. I didnt know the white and blue were for manual up and down. i was wondering why i didnt have white and blue wires haha. i wired the yellow/red up to the remote wire (thinks thats what its called) that usually turns my amp on. havnt wired my amp up yet so hope i can wire both to the same remote wire.

    thanks everyone

As long as you stay below the max current, you'll be fine. If in doubt, wire a relay to the remote wire to switch another 12v line.

^^^ You could either do that, or wire the antenna or amp straight to accessories. The only real difference is the component you wire to accessories wont turn off / go down when you turn the head-unit off via the power button.

Not too sure, but the amp and antenna should pull more than that i would imagine. If you know what your doing it's a good idea to use a relay to turn on the amp / antenna, if not just wire the antenna to accessories and if you like you can add a switch inline to retract the antenna if youre listening to CDs etc

now that i think about it, i might even wire it up to an accessories power, and wire up a little switch because at the moment, even if listening to cd's the aerial stays up
