does anyone have a wiring diagram of the inputs to the stock amp
and does anyone know if one of the speaker inputs to the amp would be sufficient to use as a remote wire for other amps?
I dont have the wiring diagram, although you can find which wire is the one that turns the amp on/off by using a test light or a multimeter and getting a mate to turn the ignition on and off.
The speaker inputs or outputs wont be ideal to use as a remote turn on source. Or are you looking for an audio input for your new amp/s?
150db in a commodore =
well its got 2 constant power wires, i presume 2 ground wires, 4 speaker inputs (from the rear speakers) and 4 amplified outputs for the subs, but no switched power or anything like that which would be useful... I'm looking for something decent to use as remote power to the amp cos the accessories from the lighter is on when the radio's not and i get a nasty pop on startup cos the amp goes on before the radio... figured the stock speakers cause some sort of 'hit' to get the amp running since there's no switched power to it, so i was wondering if there's enough power to make the amp work
