sorry if this is in the wrong section but i need help
i have an amp that has the ground wire connected. and pwr wire running straight to the battery (thourgh a fuse) and the remote wire running to the head unit!
now the amp does not work! unless i bridge the remote and pwr wire! but this means when i turn the car off the amp starys on! if i run them where there ment to go it dont work! anyone help please need it for the weekend!
If it wont turn on with the wire coming from the head unit but works when the wire comes from the power it means the remote cable from the head unit isn't working. It could either be a broken wire or a fault in the head unit.

Sounds like the remote wire is shagged, got a multimeter, check if it has power when the car is on.
EDIT: You beat me in the time it took me to type the message Joe!! LOL. At least there is quick help available to people that need it.
