I have a budget of around $1000 or a bit more and want the biggest output of base possible with in my price range. Since I'm new to the car audio world I dont really know how to explain things.

Best Speaker Brand (like splits i think thats what they are lol) ?
    - Pioneer, Sony, Kenwood, Clarion or other ?

Best Subwoofer Brand ? (for either 2x 12's or one 15")
    - Kicker, Sony, Pioneer, Clarion, US Audio or other ?

Best Amp Brand (to run 2x 12's and splits i guess..)
dont know much brands could use some help for this one

Hey, i'm pretty new to car audio too, well i know a few guy's who run Pioneer, and Clarion it goes alright.

I came up with a little build but not sure if it all fits.

Fusion CA-IP500 iPod Dock Car Tuner ($260)
    Fusion EN-CM650 6.5" Split Speakerss($95)
    Fusion EN-AM30020 2 Ch Car Amplifier ($127)
    Fusion EN-AB1120 Active 12" Sub Enclosure ($215)

    =$700.

I just came up with that in some spare time not sure how it would go to be honest. But its cheap

Firstly, this a crap and pointless thread, and hopefully there are no further generated questions, after my reply.

People, when are you going to learn that a brand means nothing. It's been said so many times before, it dosen't matter what brand it is, so long as it fits into your budget, sounds good to you, and is of reasonable quality, for the money you spent.

Nofan, that setup you listed would sound like Shit. It's all entry level garbage, and again, all from the same manafactuer. Sorry to be blunt, but that's just the way it is.If your new to the scene, maybe hold off on giving advice, until you know a little bit about what your dealing with....Again i'm sorry if i'm sounding harsh, but these threads are starting to get a bit ridiculous.

And Jordz, rather than trying to purchase a complete system, within a set budget, maybe consider focusing more on one, or few sections at a time.E.g, Start with a head unit, then upgrade your speakers, ect, then at a later date, look towards adding some additional amplifiers, and subs if you choose too.

*whistle*, well aren't rockford fosgate releasing new entry level stuff soon?

For under $1000 all entry fusion wouldn't be to bad though if it's fitted and tuned correctly?

You want big bass? This is the best value subwoofer/box/amplifier/wires package you will come across and its from VIBE, which is a completely different league to all of the brands mentioned, at least thats my opinion of them. I do sell them after all and I wouldn't sell junk:

Shopping Secure - VIBE CBR12 Twin With Amplifier

All of those other components besides the head unit have nothing to do with bass output.

If you really have no clue about car audio, add me to MSN, its in my signature. I'm the car audio sponsor on here and I'm more than happy to help you with your first system. I'll send you a PM as well.

Everyone's opinions are going to be completely different. Everyone has different music types hence different equipment needed, different brands and money definately plays a huge role in it. Holdencommodorevp, your comment was pretty silly, saying this is a crap and pointless thread. Others like to hear what people say about brands and what there thoughts are. Surely you have done the same thing in the past with stereo shit, and even normal everyday stuff, so go easy with your comments.

It is a crap and pointless thread because in the end, like all the other "what brand" threads, it will result in a brand war, with everyone dissagreeing with each other, and so forth. The only opinions that aren't going to be completely different, will be from those who have half an idea on what their actually going on about.

Hehehe, Pioneer and Alpine some of the best options? Most people who see me are UPGRADING from those brands! And Kenwood? Have you heard some of their speakers? Maybe some of their really expensive ones are tolerable but not the lower end! For value for money speakers AD and SPL Dynamics are incredible and for subwoofers, SPL Dynamics and VIBE are great too.

If you have any free time, add me to MSN mate. I would love to have a chat with you about European brands and how the mainstream brands can't even compete!

Sorry mate, but there is a LOT more to the car audio world than what is sitting on the shelves at your local JB Hifi. I haven't personally had good experiences with Clarion or kenwood, but have used pioneer headunits for a couple years, and still run Alpine speakers front and rear

HoldencommodoreVP, you are 100% right, the only opinions that matter are the ones who have an idea, but tell me 2 people in the bussiness that can actually, truly, agree on every component whether good or bad... There wouldnt be, hence why so many people have different opinions. I have opinions about brands both good and bad, but i dont cry a river cause someone else likes what i dislike, or have a whinge that this thread may go on forever cause people dont agree with me...

aaron_VR_commodore , umm why are you running 6x9's if you are running a sub? There is no need for it. You should be going with coaxils or something of the like in the rear if you have a sub going aswell...

Hey dick head, no body's crying, your new to the forum, so you haven't seen the amount "which brand is the best" or "which brand should i buy threads!!!!And yes, this one went down the exact same path as all the others, with uneducated and useless responses from people who have absolutely no clue, and no experience. People get tired of post the same usefull infomation all the time, only for it to be completely ignored.
