    Default New Amplifier and Speakers

    Hey guys,
I've just installed a new Kenwood Amp and new Clarion 6x9's in the parcel shelf but i can't seem to get the amp to fire up

I'm running a VY SS using Blakpunkt HU

I'm hopping it has alot todo with the remote cable. I've wired it up using LOC to hook up the system. So when i went to hook up the Remote thats where things got fuzzy,.

    I've tried wiring it into

    Blue ?
    Yellow - Accesories
    Tried the Constant i think , but have no white/orange . Insted I have 2 orange/black wires.

I've triple checked the wiring to the battery, to tha fuse, checked the earth and all possible solders...

Does anybody have any ideas that may help me?

    Cheers in advance

The yellow wire at the blaupunkt radio connector is accessories and that should be connected to your remote wire going to your amp. You need to verify that you have 12volts at the battery and the remote input using a multimeter. What wires have you connected the LOC to?? It should be blue/orange and blue/black and yellow/blue and brown/black. These are your blaupunkts rear speaker wires. Hope this helps.

    luke0011 just a quick question...

So the yellow wire (from the phone plug) is good to use as a remote wire for my amps?
Is that the little flat white plug (6 or so pins in it) behind the stereo on the passenger side - not hooked up to anything?

The yellow has power when the ignition is 'on', and none when the ignition is 'off',
Just the wire stays live while the radio is off but ignition 'on'

Just a annoying point....... Kenwood amps, new ones anyway,, have signal senseing on the high level input side.... this means that there is no need to hook up a remote wire.... The amp will turn on automatically when it senses power on the high level inputs....
otherwise the handsfree plug on the left side of the console has a accessory wire that will turn on with the headunit also,, should be the yellow one.. the one with the black stripe is radio mute....
