Hey guys and girls!
I am wanting to change my stock head unit to a new head unit. that part isn't the problem. The problem is I'm going to have a head unit gap because the new one is only half the size of the current one. Now I am sorry for making another thread for this but i have NO idea on what is available to fill the hole or even what it is called. I searched on ebay and random sites and all through the forums, only found pics of what i could put in. Can somebody help me out please?
Hey man you just need a single din insert. You may want to try autobarn as they sometimes have them, or ebay. looks like this.
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Holden-Commod...item3ef94bcde2
You need one of these:
Ford Mazda Snap in Pocket VT VX Commodore Brand NEW - eBay Accessories, Cables, Audio, Video, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 20-Oct-09 12:04:33 AEDST)
Once youve got the unit in, this pocket just clips into place below.
150db in a commodore =
or put gauges under it lol
thanks for all the help guys! means alot!
That post about the single din insert was freakin genius man! I was lookin at double din stuff for like a grand! but now i can just buy a good single din and cover the hole with the insert! My local autobarn in Newcastle sells em for like 30 bucks! Thanks guys!
