    Default low level output

So im planning on buying a low level RCA output kit off PHREDDY.. Just wondering if anyone has installed the kit by themselves and whether it is really hard or just a little time consuming? i have done some soldering before. . .

I haven't used the kit myself, but after chatting to Phreddy about it and looking inside a spare head unit I had lying around, it seems it would be a case of drilling a few holes for the RCA sockets and soldering the connections onto the specified places on the board. If you follow the guide properly and have done some soldering before you won't have any issues.

I reckon if you have a single stacker, go for it
If u have a 6 stacker, just make sure ur confident, cause those units arent cheap!!!

the stackers are quite a complex unit inside, dunno how the hell they make that stuff work

i watched Phreddy do it to mine yesterday and i've got a bit of knowledge in electronics (physics at school + engineering degree at uni) and i can honestly say that was MORE than happy to leave the circuit board wiring to him haha

I did it mate - both the aux in and the 4 channel out. I'm average at best at soldering. Just follow the instructions, and zoom in on the photos in the pdf. Bit time consuming but very do-able. I had to buy some torx drivers ($9) and a small tipped soldering iron ($13). All quality gear!!

I've seen the thread on the single cd unit but can we have some pics and info on the 6 stacker unit please and if possible some detail on the AUX in also.
