Hi all, i desperately need some feedback, i might buy an eonon double din DVD unit purely because of the price but is the sound quality any good?? Id hate to buy it n have S*it quality compared to the one ive got now which is brilliant.
hey mate, i bought a EONON 1012 dub DIN DVD player a while back, it is all good and all, but seems to not run my subs as well as the well known brand CD players, and also when u have the volume up quite loud the speakers will distort... i have heard that they fixed all this in the later models.. but yea, theres my 5 cents.

Yea im looking at the Eonon 1091 at the moment because it has a sub input but what id like to know is if the sound quality whilst playing music is as good as any regular after market head unit. At the moment ive just got a standard one din pioneer 4X50W head unit and its the perfect sound with my after market speakers. I'd hate to buy this and end up with a shit or not as good sound quality.
I read your review cewing, it sound like it is really what you pay for basically, you have plenty more bad points then good, not too convincing but thats what you get for the price i guess...
If you want to use one and get some more quality out of the signal I could always hook you up with a line driver which will increase the voltage so that your not having to set the gains up to stupid amounts.

I think that if you wanted to just use cds, then it was ok. Obviously not as good as the pioneer though.
I just remember the ipod sound quality was really poor, as thats what it was bought for.
