You will need an amplifier to power the speakers too (assuming you dont already have one). So heres a few suggestions:

Amplifier - Something with around 80-150wrms per channel:

Shopping Secure - Car Audio Specialists - Option Audio OAA160
Ryda Car Audio - Clarion Car Audio APX2181 Car Amplifier($221.05)
Ryda Car Audio - Kenwood Car Audio KAC-7204 Car Amplifier($198.85)
Ryda Car Audio - Pioneer GM-5400T 2 Channel Car Amplifier($268.85)

So about $200-$300, plus wiring (about $60).

Speakers - 6-6.5" Split system (component) speakers:

Shopping Secure - Car Audio Specialists - SPL Dynamics SD-6.2
    http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...nly-350-a.html
    Ryda Car Audio - JBL GTO608C 6.5" Component Speaker($227.85)
    Digital Designs Audio Direct
    Alpine Electronics of Australia

So around $200-$350 for a decent set. If youre after pure volume the SPL Dynamics custom splits for $350 will be louder than the others, but the Digital Designs splits have alot of bass.....youre speaker choice would depend on the rest of the system or plans for the system....if youre planning on adding a subwoofer in the future then low frequency response wont be a huge issue.

    Hope this helps, Andrew.

Yeah that pretty well covers it....

Just to add, if you don't have an aftermarket headunit, you will need a LOC.
I'm pretty sure Phreddy does VX's doesn't he?

I MAY be able to work out something with the AD6 splits and STEG amplifiers which will offer a great balance of good volume and great clarity.

It would also be very important for you to get a mod from ASR to add RCA cables to your head unit if you need it and sound deadening your doors will also help as they will get more out of the speakers.
