Hi i'm in Adelaide and i'm looking to buy an mp3 headunit does anyone know where abouts to buy and also can you get away with only having 2 speakers or do you need 4.

The amount of speakers you use is up to you. In a good build up, you would usually only use a good quality set of front speakers anyway, Are they the stock speakers, and what is your budget for the head unit, and what features would you like, other than the Mp3 (and by Mp3, are you talking mp3 files on CD, portable music device, IPOD, are you after direct connectivity, such as full speed IPOD, or USB, or would you be happy connecting an external device via an auxillay input?) Do you have future upgrades in mind, such as adding on external amplifiers?

Is it going into your VX, if so, are you after a single DIN unit, or a double DIN?

Have a look around on the internet, and find some models you like, post the model numbers up, and i'll link you to some online stores which will most likely have the lowest price on those units..

jb hifi generally have a decent headunit range and prices, but like holdencommodoreVP said it depends what you want
