but in comparisson to alpine, when the rest of my system is alpine?
I don't see anything particularly special about Infinity, are you planning an upgrade?

yer to either infinity or alpine,, i can get both of them for free so thats why i was asking
Its a tough call because I don't like the sound of Alpine but at the same time I've heard mixed reviews about the Infinity. But once you throw free into the equation I don't really think any of that matters!
Its really dependant on which ranges your looking at. What do you have in the car at the moment?

Ah okay those wont be a drama to upgrade. Do make sure you go pretty high up in the ranges to ensure that you get a serious benefit.

only thing is im not running the speakers from an amp yet,, only the sub from a mono
Well any upgrade you do wont reach its potential without amplification. So make sure if the splits get upgraded you add an amplifier to the mix.

thanks,, another thing how do i wire the power and remote wires?? do i run another power wire from the battery and a second remote wire?
Well what size wiring are you using?
Typically you would use a distirbution block to split the positive wire into two for use with both amplifiers. The remote wire can be split in a similar fashion.
What I recommend doing it adding a second ground wire though.

thanks joe,, any idea how much the distribution block are worth,, and should i then use thicker wire from the battery and change the fuse?
Its really going to depend on which amplifiers your using and how much current they are drawing. So once you have some models to tell us we can give some more advice.
If you have MSN add me, its in my signature. Would make it much easier for me to convey information to you.
Also distribution blocks can range from hundreds down to $20-30, completely up to you how much you want to spend on wiring accessories.
