Sub box for ute nearly done...

this is the second one by the way the first one didnt go together to well n all the mdf split up the centre this one is turning out prettyy good though what do you think?
any suggestions for making one for a mate also?









its pretty messing atm just waiting for the silicone to dry to sand the excess off

I'm a bit confused about the shape... is it conducive to good sound?
Also never seen carpet in the box, but it's been quite a few years since i made a sub box.

hey man the box is for a vs ute
and the only real room to put them in a ute is under the tray near the fuel tank
theres like a step kinda after you lift the top left corner of the tray up thats the reason for the shape the carpets just for sound deadining

I like my idea better as the compartment lid usually leaks water/dust/dirt etc as well as the bung underneath.

Each to their own though.



Obviously another peice of MDF went on top of the box i made and then the compartment lid.
