Hey guys,
Just won a set for AD600R's off of ebay, for a very resonable price, don't know why but i was searching through ebay and searching for just random audio gear, searched for spl dynamics, only a sticker came up, searched for steg, absolutley nothing (lol, came up for, "did you mean "stg"") then I thought audio dynamics, seached and up popped a set of new, not used, AD600R's...
I thought that can't be right, so looked through the pics, sure enough had the W600 midwoofers and the T100R tweeters etc. so bid on them, 6 days later I won and i was like, "Hell Yeah!!!"
Anyway, will be installing in a VR Ute, just wondering if anyone has them installed, also what is the TRUE rms, cause I have looked on Joe's site and the Xmplar site and they both have different ratings so, no sure, considering how much these are worth, i don't want to have to replace them if i blow them, what amp would be a good match for these, i.e impedence and rms???
I will problem write a review on them seeing as noone else has, won't be till the new year seeing as the missus wants to wrap them up and put them under the christmas tree
thanks in advance for the info...
who was the seller? and how many feedback did he have?
Ummm... Can't remember the name but he has 100% feedback score, he has posted them as of earlier today, so could of posted yesterday maybe... wouldn't of bidded if he didn't have a feedback score of 100%

W600 is 150RMS, T100R is 50RMS, there would also be some losses at the crossover level so in reality it would actually be more than 200RMS. As long as your not overdriving or clipping them you wont have a problem. VERY nice set of speakers so do be very careful with them, they deserve only the best
What amp will you run them with?

umm, not sure yet, won't be running more then 200w rms though.

Crossovers don't work like that. The woofer and tweeter are playing different frequencies so the power requirements aren't added together to find total power needed. The total power needed is the larger power rating of the components. The crossover will be designed to limit the tweeter to it's rated power in relation to the woofers rated power.
So don't run more then 150Wrms in them??? is that what you are trying to say?

No, you can run as much as you want... You just have to be careful with how hard you run them.
My reply was to Joe, not you.
Ahhh, Ok thanks.

Lol almost jumped the counter and smacked the fella at the post office though, gave him the slip so he asked for id, i showed him so then he went and got them and just dropped, not placed, them on the bench and i was like AHHHHHHHHHHHHH, didn't say anything, incase he took them back and hid them.... but anyway, first thing i noticed was the weight, both the woofers and the tweeters, they are the heaviest tweeters i have every felt, same with the woofers.
Must say i am very happy, just have to wait to install now...![]()

LOL! They're not that fragile so I wouldn't be worried.
