    Default Sub Facing?

    I got a quick question..
Does it generally matter where the sub is facing, eg, into the cabin, out the boot, sideways?

Also what difference would the door to the boot from the middle of the rear seat (someone educate me on what its called) is open?

Thanks guys your always good for help!

Generally rear facing is louder. The seat fold down, i have found folded down was louder, i guess because your venting some of that air into the cabin. Kinda like getting close the a port, with your ear, you'll notice it's louder. I suggest jst experiment, and find what suits you best.

Thanks man. Ill test it as soon as i walk out these doors from work. Why would the sub be louder facing the taillights? i thought facing the rear passengers it would be?

I hate the fact everything rattles too when i have my sub blarin i get everyone lookin me and trust me its not my boyish good looks! So just some of that foam tape nder the license plate would do it?

Aiming a woofer box in a car trunk - bass cancelation -

Forward facing behind the seats causes cancellation in sedans. So face them rearward or sit them at the back of the boot (near tail lights) facing the front of the car.

I'm going to go and test that now...

That would probably solve the rattle problem too
