    Default Amp for 800 watt sub

    I just received a 800 watt Pioneer sub from one of Dad's mates and I'm a bit stumped as to what sort of amp to get... Any suggestions guys? This forums been great to me so far haha.

    400-500wrms @ 4ohm, mono-block amp. have a shop around see what fits your budget, i'm sure a few people on here can recommend a few decent amps.

    I would suggest something like that: Shopping Secure - Car Audio Specialists - Option Audio OAX801

    Its stable at 2 and 1 ohm so it won't become useless if you decide to upgrade. Do keep in mind thats full price so I'll happily price match.
