    Default Sub prooblem

Well i just recently got a sybwoofer instelled with an amp obviously.

well it all runs perfectly fine but then some times it randomly cuts in and out, i thought it may have been something to do with a weak wire joints so i pulled everything appart and all seems to be fine.

    and ideas?

We need model numbers of the sub and amp, or pictures.

Is there a common part in a song (like heavy bass hit) or when you drive over a bump etc, when the sub cuts out?

I assume you got it fitted by a proffesional? if so, take it back to them......after all it is their problem.

Could be a bad earth? Double check that, I've heard bad earths cause problems like this pretty often. Good luck.

Could be anything... You need to troubleshoot a little yourself.

If it cuts off long enough for you to get out of the car and look at the amp, see if the amp's power light is going off. See if there's a protection light coming on.

Yeah your battery should definately not be running flat while your driving. How old is the battery? And it actually does help if its a reliable brand of battery.
