Default How to actually mount tweeters in VP dash?

So I would like to mount my tweeters in the front dash locations in my VP.

Having taken out the 4", I can't seem to find an easy way to screw the tweeter to somewhere.

I saw a slight out-poke made of plastic, with a hole in it already (passenger side), could I mount it to that?

Is there another position within that area that I can mount them to?

You'll need to make youself up a spacer, which screws into the 3 existing holes from where you removed your speaker, and the mount the tweeter onto that. It's a pain in the arse though, because the plastic is so brittle in most cases, and just snaps off when your working with it,.

I've always mounted them on the back of the mirror covers. Personally i think it sounds better, and their only like 5 bucks from the wreckers if you want to replace them when you sell the car...

a U shaped bracket made from a central locking backstrap works a treat.
