hey was just wondering can someone tell me where i can go running the amp wiring throughout the car and where i can go earth the amp to thnx

forgot to mention its in a vt

Depends on where your mounting the amp, as to to where you'll be able to earth it of from. Assuming it's in the boot, then any bare metal surface, that's touching the chassis, is what you'll be looking for. I've always used the metal frame work behind the rear seat, as earthing points, and i've never had a problem with it. Ideally, your earth wire should be as short as possible though.

As far as running wires through, and around the car, the plastic that runs along the carpet, near the door sills, is the best spot to run your wires. Simply pop it off, lay your wires, and the click them back into place. Make sure you run your power cable, down the oppisite side of the car, to your RCA leads. Never run them together, as you can get interference. Your power cable, and trigger cable, should be run together also.

Getting your power cable from the battery, into the cabin, you will need to run it through the firewall. Having never personally dealt with a VT, i couldn't say exactly where to run it through, But have a quick look around under the bonnet, and you should find some where, that will allow you to run it though, Just make sure if you remove a rummer grommet or anything, that you either replace it, or make your best effort to ensure the power cable, isn't touching a metal surface, as after time, it can rub through.

Another tip, begin with the power cable first, so you know which side of the cabin it comes out of, so you can split your leads down either side of the cabin.

yer thats where i just put it all and wasnt sure if it was a good earth behind the seat.
