Need help regarding amp.

Hey guys,

I got Type R speakers for my commodore that is:-

1) Alpine SPR-17S 6.5 Inch 2-Way Component/Splits Speaker
2) ALPINE SPR-69C 6x9-INCH CAR AUDIO SPEAKERS 6x9" PAIR

I have been recommended using Alpine PDX 4.100 4/3/2 channel amplifer but it's not nder the budget n have no idea about spec that what sort amp should I use so I'll be able run these speakers smoothly.

coz I have got the whole audio system from alpine so people been telling me that I should only use alpine amp for the speakers?

So plz help regarding the amp for these speakers,,wanna have a amp to run these speakers smoothly..

Well its not essential to have the same brand throughout. I've mixed and matched every system I've supplied to a customer because that usually offers the best value for money.

If you are using a subwoofer, the best bet for you would be to run one of these: Shopping Secure - Car Audio Specialists - Steg QM 45.4x

I've got them on special for $350. They're made in Italy so the quality of them is incomparable to the majority of amplifiers on the market. They will also produce in excess of 135 Watts RMS so they are essentially over kill for your front speakers. They will also be perfect for any future upgrade. The amount of quality offered compared to the price is practically impossible to beat. It won't power the rear speakers because I'm assuming your running a subwoofer and the 6x9s should generally be powered off the head unit.

If you are not running a subwoofer I can provide you with a number of different options to power both the front and rears with no trouble.
