    Exclamation front vn speakers

    hey

    i wont 2 change the front speakers from the dash 2 the doors i was gona put in the vs front door trims were the speakers go ( not sure the tech name 4 it is) has any1 got any idea how id go about doin this

    You need to extend the wires into the door firstly, then grab a pair a VR/VS speaker pods and map pockets. need to mark out and cut the hole in your original door trim and screw the map pocket to the trim. fairly easy to do i used a jigsaw to cut the hole for the speaker.

    hey
    still unsure how 2 put the speaker pods in do i hav 2 cut the hole in the door trim the same size as the speaker? i got the pods nd stuff but i just cant work out how the all fit 2getha please help

    When you bought your map pockets, did you get the mounting bracket for the speakers at the same time?
    Also, are you saying that you want to use your 4 inch dash mounted speakers in the location of the doors? or are you planning on using different speakers?

    im using diff speakers not gona b using the 4 inch speakers at all just the 6'' in the doors, i got the map pockets stock speakers nd the speaker mounts iv been trying 2 find nd work out were nd how 2 mount all this, is there anywere i can find diagrams or somthing with a picyure so i hav some idea wats gota b done

    I'm trying to find a link to an atricle which i think was published in a Street Commodores Technical issue, which covered this along with a page full of pics.It could very well be link above, but you need to be a member to veiw it, and i'm not.Bear with me and i'll find it somewhere..
