    Question vt hsv amp plug???

Someone help me please! Have searched for hours and cannot find a schematic or write up on the plug found in the left of the boot in hsv's... four of the wires go to the factory 8" subs but would love to know what the other 8 or so are and where they end.

Never ever looked, might just fit up my Sub and Amp if it has power and remote for amp :-)

Time to whip out a test light :-)))

This is the factory amplifier and it has a 4 channell input from the headunit driving all speakers. There is a gain adjustment that you can turn clockwise to get more volume.
You can add a line converter to the wires going to the subs to run to an aftermarket amplifier to run another subwoofer. Bearing in mind that these wires need to still be plugged in to the subs in the shelf for it to output through the line converter to your amp. Basically the wires need a load to produce a signal.

i think you misunderstood my question... i would just like to know what the wires are and where the wires in the plug go... im guessing they are the wires for the fronts rears and subs but not sure..

Sorry but i dont have the schematic for it but i can get it for you if you like. Yes the wires go to all the speakers directly.

    excellent!!!
i guess i should be able to figure it out without th schematic, though if it was not too much trouble it would be handy... in fact a complete hsv audio schematic would be great to have on a sticky!!!
    many thanks luke

Had a look at mine today,
    Factory Amp is a Baby...lol....
There is nothing on it, or in it to increase the volume manually :-(

I tapped into the two wires running to R/L Sub's, and ran them to my 750w Audioline Amp.... I also tapped into the power on it, as a quick power source, but after running the system, the power is no where near enough to run my 500w 12" Sub........
I ran a 6mm flex hotWire, and all is good now :-)

Oh I tapped into the parker for power antenna........
So I have to have the Foggies on to run the Sub... No biggie, as I was running out of time. I'll run a wire from the dash next weekend.......

Sounds fantastic :-) Love the Bass
If I'm not pulling Toyota's out of the Bush, I'm pulling 12's in the Sig :-)
