    Unhappy Audio help - speakers on install of headunit

    hey guys

    was just wondering what the problem could be
    i recently installed a jvc headunit into my vt. all the wires are connected corrrectly and it works beaut except for the front left and rear right speakers arent working.
    i changed the wires around so that left goes to right and the same thing occured

    they were woring before i installed the headunit so i am wondering wat it could be

    any help will be great thanks

    Have you checked the head unit itself? Sounds to me like it is faded fully to the back? Also have you checked the speakers are actually connected inside the door?

    nah cause front left and rear right work but the others dont...i will check the doors 2moz

    Hi there, did you use an aftermarket stereo plug to hook to the stereo plug in the car?

    i used the wiring loom to connect the plug that came with the headunit to the original holden plug...whys that?

    Sorry for the late reply, But i know with those aftermarket plugs they are notorious for failing... try unplugging the plug and plugging it back in... or while the plug is joined together try wiggling it around and see if that makes a difference...
