    Default 6x9's in VT

    Hi guys.....

Will standard 6x9's fit into the rear shelf of a VT? and do the 6x9's sit over the pre-drilled holes?

    Thanks

Yes, you will need to remove the sections of metal that are tack welded into the pre-cut holes of the metal. You'll also need the grilles for the top of the parcel shelf, here they are:

    1. Remove rear seat and parcel shelf
    2. Remove metal sections
    3. Screw in new speakers / wire them up
    4. Cut holes in parcel shelf for grilles
    5. Insert grilles into parcel shelf and re-install everything.

Just be aware not to cut on the line in the shelf for the grilles. If you do the grilles will fall straight thru... Cut approx 1/2 inch inside this line and you will be fine.

    cheers
