hi, im going to be shopping for 4x 16cm(6.5") speakers and need some advice.
im running it off a new pioneer deck 4x50w, no subwoofer or amp as im not that into pumping the music.
i was thinking of getting 4x 3-way speakers or should i go 3-way in the front and 4-way in the rear???
i listen to rnb, house and a bit of rap...
any help appreciated. cheers.
Step 1: Go to store that sells speakers
Step 2: Listen to speakers
Step 3: Buy the speakers you like the best within you budget.
There, now you have the speakers you like!![]()

Once you have done that, refer to danjas post

Advice other than that, don't spend too much. Without any source of amplification besides your head unit, there's really no point in spending a whole lot of money on speakers. Whether you spend $100, or $1000, they are only going to get 12-15 watts RMS each, way below the nominal handling capabilities of even the most entry level speakers.
Any reason why your not looking for splits?

Maybe because running off the headunit/budget not permitting?
yeh due to budget im not going for splits, i think i'll stick to some average 2ways, im not fussed bout music more after filling the gaps up with a nice look. cheers
There are a couple of decent cheaper coaxials on my site that you might wanna have a look at. I guess I just have that "splits up front, forget the rears" mentality cemented in my brain :P
