vx stock speakers

Hey guys i recently bought a vx and i didnt pay much attention to the speakers as they didnt really matter since i planning to upgrade them anyway... however im looking into speakers now and ive forgotten what the stock speakers are..... i was planning to just replace them with better ones (no amps or subs yet) but forgot what the stock speakers are and the car is all the way in the garage and im in bed... so wondering if someone knew what the stock ones are... and where

Their crappy made in china speakers that are custom fit to the vt-vx pods in the doors. Theres only 3 screw holes in them which makes this the custom fit. Can buy them on ebay or through holden.

I cant remember exactly how many wattage they are but i would say about 20w
Wouldnt want to go running any amplifier through them or they will burn out.

Then theres 2 tweeters in the dash.
Their also custom fit to the dash with a bracket.
Wouldnt wanna go runnin an amp through them either.

yeah i saw them in the door but wondering if they are 6" or 4" and also is it easy to mount 6*9 on the parcel shelf?

They are 6", but with some small modification 6.5" speakers will fit.

6x9s can be installed on the parcel shelf, there are holes in the metal section of the shelf already, you just need to remove the sections of sheet metal that are tack welded over these holes and run wiring from the head-unit or rear speaker wiring before it runs into the rear doors. Also you need to cut the pre-marked holes out of the "carpeted" section of the parcel shelf and buy some speaker grilles to suit.
