I found it best to use the brackets that the original tweeters were mounted on. You might need to modify them slightly depending on the mounting points of your new tweeters.

    Hey,

I put my Type R splits in the original tweeter location under the dash. Basically there is one screw (from memory) holding in the top part of the dash (be gentle when you remove this as it can easily snap). You'll have to remove the side vent covers first though to get access to it (from memory thats 3 screws). Then you'll need to unscrew and unclip the wiring from the original tweeters. I'm pretty sure the brackets holding in your tweeters is held by 1 screw. Once you get your tweeters out, dismantle the bracket from the original tweeter and I screwed the bracket to the back of my new tweeters. It's a bit of a struggle to get the new tweeters in, but by twisting it the right way they only just went in. Pretty happy with the install, it's hidden and it sounds pretty good too. Yes there are more ideal locations for tweeters but in my opinion your looking at either drilling a hole in your door trim or custom fabricating it somewhere which to me looks chatty anyway.
