just use the biggest that will fit in the terminals, on mine i just use 8 gauge power cable which was the biggest that fitted in my sub terminals
Ok got my amp for my kicker L7
I was just wondering if there was a specific speaker wire size i should be using

So you use 8 gauge to run from your sub terminals to the amp? Also i got a 1 farad capacitor do you reckon its worth using?
yeah thats right, i got 4 gauge for the main power and earth wires for the amp. as for the cap i have never used one so i cant really say if its worth it
I got 4-gauge running to both my L7s but that's just because I had it laying around. 8-gauge will be more than enough, cheap too, about $1-2 a metre. If you have already got the cap than you might as well use it. Just make sure you charge it properly or bad things happen.

12ga is more than enough. 8ga is o****ill and would just be for appearance sake.

Why does this forum censor over-kill without the dash?
I was running 8 gauge to my front splits.I'm assuming that was over over kill?

Ok cheers for that
Not unless Chuck Norris decides to show you what true "O****ill" is by round house kicking your speakers. But if that happens it won't really matter any more as we will all be dead.

I heard that Chuck Norris uses a set of 6.5 inch splits as head phones..Is this true?
Defently, my mate has a good audio system with dual 12" top of the line subs and that sounded great... then we decided 2 add a cap caus we heard they are good and it improved the quality of the sound dramaticaly at high volumes because the battery just couldnt produce the power quick enough for the subs so it clipped the notes.
an easy guide for the size of the cap u need is arround 1 farad per 1000 watt your system is running. and make sure you charge the cap with the resister in series... if you dont like we didnt to start with... its a good way to splatter the metal of a 80A fuse all over the glass case...
No. Chuck Norris uses Xmpler M18 as his in-ear headphones. Because nothing is powerful enough to hurt Chuck Norris. As a matter of fact just because they were touching Chuck Norris they got Norris'd enough to produce frequencies up to 20kH, cause thats how Chuck Norris rolls.
