VX to VY radio

Dose anybody know what I need to do to install a VY std radio in to my VX sII so I can get the steering wheel controls to work as I can't get my hands on a VX cd/radio

I dont think a VY stereo will fit into a vx, actually it wont fit. few questions though.

Why do u want to put a VY h/u into a VX anyway? why not get a VX h/u they are really cheap.

Cant you just install a aftermarket h/u into your VX? will sound heaps better and you can get the stereo controls to work to.
