so iv got a vx wagon and a family to match, i want to put some 6" and 6x9" speakers in, 6s in the front door maybe but im keen on the 6x9s goin in the boot, just wondering if anyone has put them in the side walls past the wheel arches? like what you can do in a vp wagon? and i know theres the tyre change kit on one side but i cant put boxes in as we need the room for the kids stuff. ideas or pics on similar set ups would be great.
You cant put them in boxes on top of the wheel arches? Ive done this a few times in the VT-VXs.

He's after some boxes for 6x9s SMIT.
You can buy ready made boxes, although not the best quality and non-matching carpet, but will do the job:

Hey Joe wat are the dimensions and price of the boxes? Ideal dimensions would be 200mm height x 100mm deep, width doesn't matter
to each his own...
Let me go measure them now, price is $40 but obviously I would have to charge shipping since its such a small purchase.

i have fited 6.5 splits in the rear door trim just cut the carpet out and the slot straight in easy and having the speakers aimed forwards gives better sound quality
