No such thing as the "best setup" mate. Depends on what you actually want to achieve with your system. What do YOU want out of your upgrade?

Ive done a few installs in VP-VS utes and ive found a set of splits in the front doors with a 10/12" sub in a slimline enclosure behind the passenger seat to be effective. A 4ch amp that has enough power when bridged for the sub is ideal, so around 80-120wrms per channel and 250-350wrms when bridged.
You power the splits off 2 channels on the amp, and bridge the remaining 2 channels for the sub.

o ok sweet. were did u put ur amp? did it fit under the seat or did u have to mount it on the wall behind the seat? and would this be effective the same if i had a sub under the tray instead of behind the seat do u think?
