Aerpro AP265 Mast/Rope replacement VY/VZ

Stupidly, I forgot to put my antenna down in the carwash on my VZ SS, which bent the shit out of my arieal. needless to say, i had to snap it off. Picked up an Aerpro AP265 replacement mast and rope. 2 something hours of dicking around, I can't get the mast to fit because there are bits and pieces on the AP265 that just 'dont seem to fit' with the factory motor.

has anyone successfully replaced their vy/vz mast with one of these aerpro units into a factory motor? if so, what modifications etc did you need to do to the mast to make it fit properly?

yeah bought a vx 2001 nice car but the old driver must have been related as she took it through a car wash as well. told 20 bucks to replace... yeah right!
got the aerpro +vtvy1f ap250 and yeah having trouble installing as like you said don't fit factory production.

the pictures on the back and instructions are not so good, where is the hexagon nut?
