hey peoples what wire do i connect for the dvd player to play whilst driving
Model head unit? If it's not a Clarion then the handbrake wire needs to be connected the earth for video to be displayed all the time. If it is a Clarion unit then a momentary switch needs to be installed in line with the handbrake wire and earth.
150db in a commodore =
first of all u need a 12 volt switch with ON and OFF
then all u need to do is to find the green wire from the headunit then put it on the negitive on the switch then find the best grounding point behind ur dash and then bolt a wire on to the ground and connect it 2 the positive.
start ur car and switch the switch until u get a picture mate
then ur ready
What model Clarion? I have installed one before and just put the handbrake wire to the earth. Have you tried that?

Its a VX400A. I understand that wiring it straight to earth would make it play all the time, but I want to be able to switch it from playing all the time to 'proper operation'...you know, for the times I get pulled over and they ask to check it
