well im doin an audio install at the moment, & well i lik the look of my speakers showing, but i have no idea how to make my own fiberglass speaker pods & dont really wanna attempt it lol
so basically just woundering is the allready made fiberglass speaker pods to fit/look as stock as possible in a vy-vz.
if anyone has got an idea where i could get some, or if anyone has some cheap they wanna sell.
cheers
AFAIK theyre not readily available and need to be custom made, which mean $$$ depending on how far you wanted to go. If you want pods just to hold 1 6.5" woofer on either side and for it to look stock, then im sure a reputable car audio store could modify your pods with some fibreglass and vinyl for minimal dollars (still probably a few hundred).

You can buy speaker pods which are to suit six inch speakers. Probably save a bit of money doing it that way. Should be able to get them from autobarn or some where like that.

Yes but they wont integrate with the door trim very well. The VZ along with the older models use a map pocket too, so you'd need to remove this map pocket to fit the pod above which would leave mounting holes etc exposed and not look very good IMO.

Yes you can buy from queensland a fibreglass insert that fits your door trim. All is involved is removing the factory grill. They come painted $350
hey luke, some more info on which company is doing these would be great.
