Guys as some of you know im doing up my system and i am now looking at some dynamat. thinking of doing entire doors. inside and out with it and then whats left over will go in the boot. too much or will more be better?
Sounds like a plan.....you can never have too much Dynamat, it just starts to become less noticeable the more layers you do.

thanks mate
I wouldn't concern myself with the boot too much.If any was left over, i'd simply double up in the more crucial area's.
Removalist's blankets are good, and cheap, for killing boot rattles.
Also good for killing rattles:
REMOVE EVERYTHING THAT RATTLES

I tend to deaden both skins in my doors but have chatted with a lot of other fitters about it and they don't seem to notice a difference....mind you, we are talking about guys like myself who don't tend to spend less then a grand on front doors...
Consider sound deadening the roof and floor boards also.... also do a single skin on the rear doors....it's just so nice, cool and quiet in the car afterwards. Be aware of weight. In my VL after finishing the stereo the last time (it's currently apart getting a new system) the total extra weight added tipped in at a touch over 350kg including the sound deadening O:
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!
well i've purchased Fusion Powerplant 6.5" splits for the front and getting 2ways for the backdoors. Was looking at doing both skins in all four doors then throwing some on the floor and boot, im looking at getting a sub in a while so the boot can wait if need be. i have been told that the more you put in the less it is going to help with noise levels. am i going to get good deadening from just doing the inner skin (speaker mounting surface)? I will definately do the entire door but i dont wana waste my money when im going to get enough performance out of one layer?
