Sub winding sound when car is turned on

Hey guys, I have just replace my alternator regulator and ever since then when my car is running my subs have a winding sound but when the car is off they sound normal. Anyone know whhat coulda caused this and how to fix it? Thanks.

Was it a brand new regulator?

Did you change anything to do with the stereo recently?

What brand head unit do you have?

Yer brand spanken new regulator, nar it's been the same for about 6 months it's a kenwood head deck dunno the model number. Recon it has something to do with the head deck?

did you change any earths any where some times a earth can do this

Nar don't think I touched any earths, ganna go over it this arvo after work and try to figure it out.

I asked about the head unit because Pioneer head units can cause that noise if they go faulty.

If you really didn't change anything to do with the stereo, then it should only be the regulator that could cause it.
