So I'm looking at getting a new head unit for my car tomorrow, going through auto barn or supercheap.
I was looking at the Kenwood - KDC-U546BT
But when I rang up, the guy reckons I couldn't stream music from my iPod to it via bluetooth. Does anybody know if it is possible because I don't want a cable?
If not can someone recommend a unit that I can stream music from my iPod touch to without a cable? Roughly around the $300 mark would be sweet.
Why dont you want to use a cable? Its faster, easier to control (change songs etc) and charges your iPod too.
Is bluetooth a priority? because Pioneer make a cheap unit with iPod cable...the DEH-2100IB. Great value for money.
Just having a think, i have a previous model Kenwood head-unit with a front panel USB, i just connected the normal iPod USB cable to it and plug my iPhone 3GS into it, works fine. Maybe thats all you'll need to do with the newer head-units also?
Otherwise, i cant help you with streaming audio via Bluetooth, havent had any experience with it.
150db in a commodore =
Thanks mate. I dunno just don't want a cord running really and no where to sit it in my VS.
Clarion CZ509...you can use the rear USB if you want....or bluetooth audio to it.
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!
Can someone give me tips on where to run my cable so I can sit my iPod in VS console if I get the kenwood head unit?
